洋蔥與芭樂的奇怪組合，是最多人問起的問題，在農產品眾多的高雄市裡，卻是兩項代表性的農產品。 186號道路全線貫穿高雄市東西兩端，沿線種植種類繁多的農產品，芭樂是最大宗且具代表的項目之一。而林園是高雄洋蔥的唯一產地，產量雖不如屏東但品質優異，亦是高雄特色農產之一。 家政班員們利用芭樂疏果後的小芭樂或者洋蔥脫下的外皮，經過多種的工法與巧思，呈現出溫暖原始的大地色系，並將它們以自然、健康的方式，創作出適合點綴生活情趣的各項用品，將關懷大地的心情以手作獻給也愛大地的您。

Going Green: Recycling Onions and Guavas
To many people, onions and guavas may seem like an odd combination. But among the many different crops grown in Kaohsiung, they are the two most important agricultural products. Along City Route 186, which stretches from eastern Kaohsiung to the western part of the city, farmers grow various fruits and vegetables. But among the many kinds of greens grown here, guava is king. Onions, another important agricultural product of Kaohsiung, can only be found in Linyuan Township. Crop yield of the area is not as high as that in Pingtung, but the high quality of onions from Linyuan makes them a characteristic crop of Kaohsiung. During the non-harvest season, members of the craft club at Kaohsiung Farmers' Association used the skins of small guavas and onions to create a variety of handmade products. The exquisite crafts come in organic and natural earthy colors; they're a perfect way to add a little fun to everyday life, while representing consumer's commitment to a healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle.

玉ネギとグアバの奇妙な組み合わせに、多くの人が首をかしげます。高雄市は有名な農産物が沢山ありますが、一番代表的なのが玉ネギとグアバなのです。 高雄市を東西に貫く186号線。沿線にはたくさんの種類の農産物が生産されており、中でもグアバが最も多く代表的です。一方、林園は高雄市唯一のネギ生産地。生産量は屏東に及ばないものの、品質が良く、高雄市の特産品となっています。 家政チームは摘果した小さなグアバや玉ネギの皮を再利用しました。たくさんの工法とアイディアを駆使し、暖かな原始の大地の色を表現。自然で害のない方法で、生活を彩るに持って来いの様々な手芸品を創りました。インテリアに表情を加えました。大地を大切に思う気持ちを手芸品に込め、同じく大地を愛する貴方へ差し上げます。
